QC Engineer

Job description / Role

Guildhall is currently recruiting for a QC Engineer on behalf of our client, a renowned construction company based in Abu Dhabi. This role is part of an exciting ADNOC oilfield project, and we’re looking for a highly skilled professional to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality control activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Perform hands-on inspections in welding, NDT, and coating/painting.
• Lead project quality audits and ensure ISO 9001 standards are met.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, issues, and resolutions.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
• ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI (or equivalent certification approved by the company).
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a QC Engineer in Oil & Gas Projects.
• Hands-on expertise in welding, NDT, and coating/painting.
• Strong command of Project Quality Auditing.
• Fluent English skills (both written and spoken).
