Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas pipeline industry. The ideal candidate will ensure that the highest quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design through to final inspection. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to excellence and safety in all operations. The QC Engineer will collaborate with various teams to implement quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure compliance with company and industry specifications.
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify quality requirements and develop inspection and test plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
- Assist in the development and delivery of quality training programs for project staff to promote a culture of quality awareness.
- Conduct audits and evaluations of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports to identify trends, non-conformances, and areas for improvement.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control in the oil and gas sector.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Quality Engineering).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control within the oil and gas or pipeline industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, API).
- Experience with inspection techniques, testing methods, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficient in using quality control software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites within the UAE as required.
- Certifications in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, CQE) are a plus.
