Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards, identifying any discrepancies or defects.

- Develop and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports and compliance checklists, to ensure traceability and accountability.

- Implement and monitor quality control processes, utilizing statistical methods to analyze data and improve overall product reliability and performance.

- Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution to prevent recurrence.

- Participate in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to findings to ensure continuous improvement.

- Evaluate supplier quality performance through audits and assessments, ensuring that materials meet specified quality standards before acceptance.

- Utilize advanced testing equipment and software for diagnostics, ensuring precise measurements and effective troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related technical field, demonstrating a solid foundation in engineering principles.

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quality control within the mechanical and electrical sectors, showcasing practical knowledge and expertise.

- Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma) is preferred, indicating a commitment to quality excellence.

- Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001, AS) and their application in engineering processes, ensuring compliance with global best practices.

- Proficient in technical documentation and quality control software, enabling efficient data management and reporting.

- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, essential for identifying quality issues and implementing effective solutions.

- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, demonstrating collaboration and adaptability to varying project needs.

- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset, essential for anticipating and addressing quality challenges before they escalate.
