QC Inspector

Job description / Role

QC Inspector required for a multinational original equipment manufacturers in Dubai.

Duties are:
- To carryout pump assembly In-process and Final inspection
- Conducting various tests like hydrostatic test and mechanical test as per standards
- In-charge for Pump painting and UL Diesel tank fabrication from 50 Gallon to 310 Gallon
- Attended meetings
- Ensure the pump performance satisfies the standard
- Maintain quality management system in the organization
- Understanding Technical Drawings for Fabrication
- Coordinating factory acceptance test (FAT)
- Ensure that all the welding work carried out as per approved procedure and plans
- To inspect all incoming materials as per purchase order requirements
- To report the pump based issues and testing results to departmental heads
- Familiar with various codes, standards and procedures like ASME, ASTM Codes , WPS ,PQR
- Verifying calibration status of measuring device and test equipment

Requirements

- Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years work experience in a manufacturing production factory of equipment, pumps, valves
- Good standard of English; both verbal and written
- Must be resident in the UAE
