QHSE Engineer

Join our dynamic Facilities Management team in Abu Dhabi as a QHSE Engineer, where you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental strategies to ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with QHSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and quality across all operations.
- Provide training and support to staff on QHSE practices and emergency preparedness.
- Analyze risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on QHSE performance to management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QHSE Engineer or in a similar role within the Facilities Management industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards applicable in the UAE.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lead audits and develop effective corrective action plans.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in QHSE software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Certification such as NEBOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
