Job description / Role
Key Accountabilities:
• Checking that raw materials or components involved in the production process are of suitable quality
• Inspecting production machinery and employees to make sure the production process runs smoothly
• Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental and health and safety goals
• Estimating time involved in assuring each product’s quality Meeting project deadlines
• Communicating with Quality Control about existing defects and how to prevent them in future products
• Reporting discovered defects to all relevant departments for correction
• Applying technical skills related to the product being tested (knowledge of programming languages to software QA, knowledge of machinery for hardware, etc.)
• Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
• Ensures accurate and timely preparation, submission and display of all required financial transactions and maintains detailed and accurate records to accurately retrieve data
Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
Minimum Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Production line
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor’s degree plus
• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
Knowledge & Skills:
• Good Communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Good Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Analytical, Problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices and defect management practices
