Quality & Hygiene Officer
Rixos Marina Hotel Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality and Hygiene Officer to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As a Quality and Hygiene Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization maintains the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout all our operations.

What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and protocols to maintain and improve the overall quality and hygiene standards of our establishment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to establish and maintain effective quality and hygiene practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback, reviews, and complaints related to quality and hygiene, and take appropriate actions to address any issues or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance, cleanliness, and hygiene, and implement necessary changes to align with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and reports, to ensure consistent adherence to quality and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits and participate in external inspections to ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and safety of products and materials used in our operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of food safety management systems, HACCP, and other relevant programs.

Your experience and skills include:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, food science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in quality assurance, hygiene, or food safety are preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quality and Hygiene Officer or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, cleanliness standards, and hygiene protocols.
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to train and educate employees on quality and hygiene standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with quality management systems is a plus.
