At Emerson we understand our clients are constantly faced with the need to safely and effectually control many different types of processes. To make this easier, Emerson has an extensive isolation valve portfolio comprised of trunnion ball valves, floating ball valves, high performance butterfly valves, triple offset valves, slam-shut valves, and shut off valves. These valves are designed and tested to provide the performance necessary to keep our client\'s processes safely operating at maximum efficiency.
Based in Dubai at our world-class facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, the Quality Manager for our Isolation Valve portfolio is responsible for the effective implementation of the Quality Management System, and to manage and drive QA initiatives within the Middle East & Africa business.
Your duties will include:
* Ensuring compliance with relevant Codes, Standards and Regulations
* Managing and auditing the supply base
* Continuous improvement of internal processes
* Ensuring the quality of products and services for the MEA region business
* Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
* Integrate QM systems of legacy operations into \'One Emerson\' QMS
* Recognise and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as define in Emerson\'s Company Policy & Procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified with a Bachelor\'s in Mechanical Engineering. You will have 12-15 years experience in the valve manufacturing industry with at least 5 years in a Quality Management capacity.
An in-depth knowledge of Quality Management principles, ISO9001 QMS Lead Auditor Certification and knowledge of foundry processes, welding, NDE/T, machining & painting are required.
You will be able to run the Quality Management process for the Isolation Valve business across the Middle East & Africa, which will involve travelling up to 25% of your time.
Also essential is the ability to make tough decisions is essential, along with first class communication/presentation skills, team management and development capabilities and a relentless approach to quality.
