Main Job Purpose:

The Quality Specialist role works within Arabia : covering Home care category E2E Quality responsibility, working collaboratively with Sourcing units teams , improving and providing technical support , ensuring Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, innovations execution, quality risk management and drive improvements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Deploying UL Quality strategy, governance and goals.
- Supports building of Quality talent in Quality network through training.
- Leads or supports quality and / or consumer safety trainings within the business.
- Supports ensuring core technology design for equipment and infrastructure, process changes and specifications meet local regulatory requirements and product quality needs across UL & 3PMs.
- Participates in / supports HACCP workshops and activities to ensure HACCP plans are designed and operated to assure product safety
- Supports ensuring, verifying, and calibrating UL Quality Management System across the business
- Supports ensuring compliance to GMP requirements across the business.
- Supports business for resolution of quality / consumer safety issues.
- Quality risk assessments for innovations
- Supports ensuring that SAP QM is updated to align with new / changed materials and products.
- investigation and resolution of product quality incidents.
- Collection / analysis / investigation / resolving consumer/ customer product and package complaints and CRQS issues and drive for improvements across E2E SC
- Engagement plan with DBT Members to highlight challenges, set priorities for Quality improvement & drive actions for improvement.
- Cross-functional Quality improvement workshops
- Ensuring that capabilities of new third party manufacturers to meet UL Quality requirements is verified through technical capability assessments.
- Ensure compliance to UL Quality Management standards in 3P Make through KPI and non-conformance monitoring, intensive care, technical visits (as needed) and general oversight.
- Supports Procurement and 3P Mfg / PI suppliers, to resolve gaps identified in required SQA audits.

Requirements

Key Competencies & Skills:

Essential

- 3 + years experience in Supply Chain - R&D functions
- Technical Background

Preferred

- 3+ years in Supply Chain Quality
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Chemistry
- Experience in manufacturing process / project planning / regional- cross functional exposure
