Employment: Full Time

Executive Summary:
Quality Specialist is a critical job function in the Storefront as part of MRO Network Solutions, Aftermarket Solutions division of CLIENT in executing of the contract between the organization and its customer. Quality Specialist is primarily responsible to maintain the quality standards in the operations, manage airworthiness documentation as well as supplier performance.

Basic Functions:
- Develop, document and maintain operational procedures.
- Review processes, seek areas of improvement, create/modify the operational procedures based on the changing requirements.
- Develop business analytical and statistical data, and evaluate results.
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the operational process to reflect updated assumptions of the business.
- Conduct audits as per the quality requirements.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain data and accurate information and convert it in a meaningful format and share with the stakeholders.

Job Functions:
- Quality specialist is responsible for developing & maintaining operational procedures.
- Review the existing processes, seeks areas of improvement, create/modify the operational procedures based on the changing requirements.
- Train the employees in the existing procedures and make sure that all employees are up to date in the latest operational procures.
- Conduct the Workstation Audit as per the Quality requirements.
- Prepare and make arrangement for the external audits.
- Develop business analytical and statistical data, based on the ERP & Spotfire reports and evaluate results.
- Issue supplier performance reports measuring turn-around-time for repair parts and modules and lead-time & availability for new and used parts.
- Check airworthiness of the release certifications.
- Identify the potential risks in operations and escalate to the concerned parties.
- Manage quarantined items for preventative and corrective and actions

Key Results:
- Maintain the defined Quality Standards
- Develop and Improve the standard of the overall operation.

Requirements

Required Education / Experience / Specific Job-related Skills:
Years of Experience:
- Five to Ten years of experience in the aviation MRO – Maintenance Repair Overhaul industry related to the airworthiness of jet engine components.

Education/Training:
- BA/BS college degree or it's equivalent.

Licenses/Certificates:
- Aviation Quality related certification preferred

Other:
- Quality Specialist is expected to demonstrate proficiency in statistics, logistics, process mapping, business analytics, performance measurement methods with an understanding of their financial, production and operational impacts.
- Knowledge of Oracle related ERP or other software related to value chain management is preferred. Experience in other software packages including Windows, Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, and Visio is essential.
- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business affecting the operational process.

- Measure storefront (internal) performance towards customer for TAT, availability, lead time & delivery
- Measure logistics service providers performance for transit time
- Reporting quality escapes and taking preventive and corrective actions
