Job description / Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join for our Dubai based client who specializes in Interior Design and Fit Out.
The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, and site based experience gained preferably in construction. You will also have a degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or similar and will have excellent work organization and prioritization skills. You will have knowledge of AutoCAD, MS project, Word, and excel and be able to work well under pressure, multi-task and achieve targets. Additionally, you will have effective communication (written, verbal) with high level negotiation and analytical skills and a good working knowledge of Project Management principles.
Requirements
With experience, ideally (although not essential) in Retail/Food & Beverage, you will be a strong relationship builder and work closely with the Directors of the Business to ensure that all contractual requirements are reviewed and a plan for project construction is developed efficiently. Weekly site assessments will be conducted in order to prompt payment aligned to milestones.
You will have a tenacious approach and be able to work calmly and accurately under pressure whilst leading a small team.
