Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Smart Harmony Interior LLC team in Abu Dhabi. We are expanding our operations and looking for a skilled QS with strong fit-out expertise to support our ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction and fit-out projects.
-Handle pricing, tendering, variation control, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform accurate quantity take-offs.
- Conduct cost estimations and develop comprehensive cost breakdowns.
- Review and analyse tender drawings, scopes of work, and contract documents.
- Prepare pricing sheets, quotations, and detailed commercial proposals.
-Manage overall cost control to ensure compliance with project budgets and financial targets.
-Implement value engineering to optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality.
-Coordinate with project teams on timelines, design details, procurement activities, and project execution.
-Provide regular cost updates, financial insights, and commercial support for ongoing projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a Civil Engineer.
- Proven minimum 3yrs of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the industry, preferably within the UAE market.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in Ms Excel, Auto CAD, Cost Estimation Tools,Plansmith
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
