Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and maintain accurate cost records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Assist in preparation of interim and final payment certificates, valuations, and financial reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to control costs and minimize risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including bills of quantities, contracts, and cost reports.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, contractual obligations, and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects (4-6 years)
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and project management principles.
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore), and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Cubit).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cost-related tasks effectively.
