Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

Guildhall is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure development in Dubai.

The successful candidate will manage cost control, contract administration, and commercial reporting for infrastructure packages, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage cost control, variations, claims, and payments
• Prepare, review, and maintain commercial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Review contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with project standards
• Collaborate closely with engineers, site teams, and consultants to monitor project progress
• Support procurement and tender evaluation
• Maintain comprehensive records of commercial activities and reports for management
• Promote efficient, compliant, and cost-effective practices across all the projects

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in UAE on large-scale infrastructure is required
• Proven experience with main or international contractors
• Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, claims management, and variation management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to join immediately or on short notice
