This role is for a company who are building residential apartments around Dubai.
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Quantity Surveyor & Estimator cum Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and procurement processes within the construction industry. This is a dual-role position requiring excellent analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to ensure accurate budgeting and timely procurement of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveying & Estimation:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and material take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Evaluate project costs and budgets and prepare tender and contract documents
• Analyze and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Monitor cost variations and support project cost control and reporting
• Conduct site visits for verification of quantities and compliance with project specifications

Procurement & Purchasing:
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for materials, equipment, and services
• Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials
• Maintain vendor records and evaluate supplier performance
• Ensure all purchases comply with project budget, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with project teams and site personnel for timely material planning

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement, preferably in the UAE/GCC region
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, market rates, and procurement procedures
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
AED 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
