Our client is a leading fit out consultancy here in Dubai who are currently there commercial departments in Dubai. As a company they are also launching in other countries such as Saudi and Doha. Currently looking for an experienced QS to join their well-established Project Management team. The company have been in region a number of years and specialize in the commercial, retail and F&B sector. For the past couple of years they have been heavily expanding due the quality of work delivered.

The role will be stand-alone QS positions, the role will develop into a more senior role as the company grows. Eventually you would be looking at running a commercial team and department. Hence why this is such a fantastic opportunity for any client side Quantity Surveyors. (QS to complete BOQs and PTEs for our fitout projects)

As consultancy they have secured a pipeline of projects for 2016 and 2017, particularly in the sectors of F&B, Commercial and Retail fit out.

Reporting to the directly to the owners / partners your duties include but are not limited to;
- Preparation of Tender Documents, BOQs, Estimates and Budgets
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and site measurements
- Preparation of monthly cost and value reports
- Project cost monitoring and control
- See over all technical aspects and keep the operations director informed

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the below criteria as a minimum; Degree educated preferably Quantity Surveying having a minimum of 5 years Middle East Fit Out experience with a consultancy or developer in the region. Excellent spoken and written English as you may be expected to meet clients.
