Job description / Role
As quantity surveyor, your role will be to estimate the costs of the projects, preparing Bill of quantities and estimating material and labour costs in tender stage, during the execution and pest handing over stage.
Duties
• Sending out inquiries for quotations and preparing purchase orders, following up deliveries and sending out RFP’s for any upcoming projects.
• Preparation of BOQ’s for any upcoming projects/bids.
• Preparation of pre-tender estimates.
• Measuring and valuing variations, preparing claims.
• Coordinating with sites to ensure timely and accurate management of control activities on assigned projects.
• Ensuring timely cost reporting, analyses with actions and cost data archiving.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Quantity Surveyor
• Minimum 10 years of total experience
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience
• Previous experience with reputable fit out or general contractor is a plus.
• Resident in Dubai
• English: Fluent
• Should be well versed with MS office & Outlook.
