Position Title: R&D Chemist – Coil Coating

About the Client:
A global Petrochemical Group of Companies that trades and manufactures a wide array of paints and coating products.

Job Description:
- Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials, sample products, and finished coatings, including thickness, viscosity, adhesion, penetration, durability, and benchmarking against market standards; document and report results to support product development.
- Lead and support new product development, method validation, and process optimization in coil coating, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.
- Maintain lab safety, enforce HSE protocols, and collaborate effectively with production, R&D, and third-party teams to drive quality and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field, 3+ years laboratory experience (preferably in coatings), strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

- Open to Asian nationals, 38 years old and below
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years laboratory experience in coatings or paint industries, with hands-on expertise in testing, method development, and product development cycles
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with excellent time management and organizational abilities

Salary:
AED 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
