Job Description:
I am currently handling an interesting position for an international law firm in Abu Dhabi, UAE. My client is a leading international firm, with a 1 real estate practice. At this time they are looking to hire a 5-7 years PQE Real Estate Lawyer to join their established team.
Reporting to the Partner and Head of Real Estate, the role will involve a broad mix of general commercial real estate work, with a particular focus on development, commercial leasing and transactional work. This new role will be based in their Abu Dhabi real estate practice and is a position that will offer the right candidate, a great chance to be more active with clients, managing communications, meetings and having the opportunity to work on some of the more larger transactions. A fantastic opportunity for a mid-level (around 5-7 year PQE) real estate lawyer that would ideally suit someone who already has a history of working with leading local and international clients, plus someone who is confident and enjoys client facing and development work. The role will require the successful candidate to effectively interact with regional and international colleagues around the world, as well as having the ability to work on their own initiative when needed. The client requires strong technical real estate skills, good client facing skills and someone who is hungry to undertake, help drive and engage in a variety of business development activities in addition.
They work with the leading property groups and developers in the region and can offer the right candidate variety and exposure to some very large and interesting transactions, as well as a great working and team environment.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Essential:
Common Law Jurisdiction Qualification essential (UK, USA, AUS, NZ, SA….)
Language: Fluent English
5-7 years PQE Real Estate Law experience (Salary Negotiable depending on PQE)
ME regional experience preferred although experienced candidates from the UK, US, AUS, NZ, SA will also be considered.
