Real Estate Manager - Projects & Property - UAE
Our business is growing and integral to our success is a Property Division that drives the location selection, builds, fit-outs and launches of new stores across MENA.
The Real Estate Manager is accountable for the new store opening plan, negotiating and renegotiating leases, initiating and maintaining key contracts, and always strives to secure the most prominent space in malls and street locations wherever possible.
About the Division:
The Property Division manages all aspects of Alshaya's 2,750+ store retail property portfolio for our 70+ brands across 19 countries. The property division is split into 3 areas, Real Estate, Project Management and Facilities Management (FM). The Division holds regular reviews on store performance and drives real estate portfolio maximisations to ensure it meets the company's and brands' expectations in regard to quality and profitability. With 425 new stores opened in 2014, and with 430 new stores and 200 refurbishments planned for 2015, the work is fast-paced and dynamic. The team structure is split by region, ensuring your exposure across a number of international blue chip brands.
Requirements
This roles provides an opportunity for a professionally-qualified retail property manager to assist in the new store expansion strategy, acquisitions planning, site selection and budgeting for our growing business. With more than 70 brands operating across the Middle East this role gives the ideal candidate exposure to a varied and diverse client portfolio.
