As a Real Time Control & Pre-Planning Officer, you will be responsible to develop and administer engagement rules within RTC base data, ensuring rules are efficient and in line with resource planning. You will also have to accurately administer the pre-planning requirements of the operation using RTC and associated analytical tools and create reports to be used for manpower and GSE planning on day of operations.
In this role, you will;
- Plan
- Administer RTC rules within the RTC base data to ensure rules are in line with business requirements.
- Develop pre-planning schedules and resource estimations using RTC and associated analytical tools.
- Execute
- Compile all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Develop and administer resource deployment rules for RTC, in line with the specific customer airlines SLA.
- Develop business rules/process models and qualification based manpower deployment rules into RTC using base data editor.
- Implement RTC project under the guidance of RTC & Pre-Planning Specialist with the involvement of line departments, EGIT, resource allocators and vendor.
- Measure engagement times by analysing operational reports for each resource function in respective work areas and conduct the required comparison between planned engagement standards and actuals for each.
- Maintain and update RTC base data regularly to reflect latest operational requirements.
- Act as the key business contact for the maintenance of databases and in working with EGIT to facilitate the efficient and effective execution of all work planned on resource planning-related systems and associated interfaces to other systems.
- Use internal and external data feeds & simulation techniques in a pre-planning environment to predict actual on-the-day demand for manpower and GSE.
- Develop reports, analyse scenarios to support pre-planning activity.
- Analyse and measure accuracy of reports and recommendations after the day of operations is complete.
- Analyse resource & workload coverage at various time frames which include:
- 7 days out prior to day of ops, validate resource numbers & qualification.
- 3 days out prior to day of ops till 6 hours prior to day of ops.
- Continuously validate coverage based on real-time changes i.e. estimate changes, sickness, etc.
- Review the day of ops allocation performance for designated areas and feed areas of improvement to line.
Qualification
In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements;
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant subject.
- Bachelor's degree: 4-6 years of experience in resource planning, resource management or real time control.
- Diploma: 6-8 years of experience in resource planning, resource management or real time control.
- English level 6.
- Proficient IT and computer literacy skills.
- Advanced safety awareness skills.
- Proficient communication skills.
- Proficient data collection and analysis skills.
- Proficient planning and organizing skills.
