Receiving Agent

As a Receiving Agent, you will ensure the correct quality & quantity of items are received in accordance to approved pricing and quantities.

What you will be doing:

- Upon receipt of goods, ensures that delivery is accordance with the terms of the Purchase Order and the standard purchase specifications (quantity, quality, price, etc.).
- Ensures that food goods received are properly handled and all hygiene standards are followed.
- Responsible for stamping, dating and signing off on all goods received, and that all received goods are logged regularly.
- Responsible for checking the temperature and transport conditions of vendors trucks.
- Ensures that HACCP procedures are followed and clear records are kept at all times.
- Prepares daily Receiving report, and communicates any issues or delays with ordered goods with the corresponding departments.
- Ensures that the loading dock is organized and clean at all times.
- Performs regular store inventories and communicates with supervisor on any discrepancies or other potential problems.
- Responsible for performing any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Cost Control/Store/Purchasing as needed.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5 star hotel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP procedures and communication skills.
