Mediclinic Middle East is expanding our internal recruitment team in Dubai due to our company-wide growth strategy across the UAE and in-turn our growing need to hire top talent.

The role of the Recruitment Officer is to fully understand our business manpower requirements before identifying, sourcing, and interviewing suitable candidates for medical and non-medical vacancies.

The successful candidate will be required to build good working relationships with all key business stakeholders to ensure the right candidate is hired every time to meet the specific requirements of the individual facilities.

Responsibilities for the role include:
• Sourcing, interviewing and on-boarding of suitable candidates for medical and non-medical vacancies.
• Tracks, updates, and audits recruitment data according to the Headcount Budget and the priorities of the Unit.
• Working in collaboration with HR teams to ensure accurate and updated job descriptions are in place for each new/replacement role.
• Prepares advertisements for vacant positions.
• Identifies both traditional and non-traditional candidate attraction methods, recommends candidate attraction strategies, and monitors the success of the different strategies.
• Pre-screens candidates and provides feedback to the relevant Line Managers.
• Organises and leads, or participates in, interviews.
• Ensures that all personnel and licensing documents are sourced in a timely manner, and that licensing is conducted quickly and efficiently.
• Conducts reference checks, as per company practices, for shortlisted candidates and successful candidates
• Provides advice or information relating to processes, policies, and best practice to managers and non-managers within the organization, and actively upholds and promotes compliance to HR policies.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant business field.
• Good knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology, however this is preferred and not essential.
• Minimum of three to five years recruitment experience – either in-house or agency.
• Ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels, and from different cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to critically evaluate recruitment issues/challenges and develop solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in managing recruitment and employee issues taking into account cultural and political sensitivities.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
• An understanding of UAE Labour Law would be an added advantage.
• Should be equally comfortable working independently or closely within a team.
• Confident and able to make decisions independently when appropriate.
• High level skills in Microsoft Office and good working knowledge in Excel are required. Excellent reporting and tracking skills in recruitment processes.
• Fluent spoken and written English, Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
