Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director (RSD) the Regional Account Manager (RAM) will be responsible for the customer relationship management of all customers in region to generate profitable revenues for The Company’s Products and Services portfolio in the region from existing customers and customers in the implementation stages.

The job holder is expected to achieve their individual revenue targets for the region by proactive management and the facilitation of new initiatives and opportunities to up sell other Company products and services. In addition the RAM will be responsible to ensure that implementation projects are delivered on time and on budget such that both the Company and the customer fully meet the obligations of the contract.

Requirements

The RAM will be responsible for the following key activities:
• Successful attainment of their individual revenue targets
• Maximize and sustain high levels of activity in all accounts that focus on customer satisfaction and attaining the revenue plans set out for that customer
• Create and manage account development plans with specific customer/product targets for achieving new business from existing customers. Update and report on achievements against the plan on a monthly basis, provide the product sales managers with market, product and industry information that will improve product, marketing and sales strategies.
• Manage the implementation for multiple accounts with multiple products. This includes close cooperation across relevant business functions to deliver to and above The Company’s contractual commitments, whilst ensuring the account remains profitable.
• Manage the financial implications of all delivery projects with regards to timely billing, invoicing and debt management
• Manage cross and up sell strategy of new opportunities (product /services) after any implementation is complete
• Own the complete relationship management responsibilities with all existing customers on behalf of The Company to embed The Company as a value-add partner and maintain a strong competitive advantage over the competition through high customer satisfaction.
• Initiate, facilitate and manage regular planning meetings with the customers’ ‘C’ Level and/or key business managers, which will develop and expand the Company relationship and drive new opportunities for business. Contribute towards facilitating the sales process, including tenders, bids and proposals.
• Co-ordinate The Company Quarterly Service Reviews with customers and The Company LOB managers to review service delivery quality and commitments. Manage all work programs for existing customers, initiating additional services (CR) opportunities such that the complete product or service meets all of the customer’s expectations. Train and develop expert product knowledge in other products of the Company portfolio so that the job holder can provide a backup product sales service.
• Manage the customer and project resource deployment, product or service implementation made by The Company into the customer and any commercial aspects of engagement. Oversee the implementation process, ensuring that the customer participates fully in the project and that the customer is entirely satisfied with the process and the deliverables. Manage any issues of conflict that arise between the customer and The Company, ensuring that everything is managed within the project rather than being escalated to steering groups or project sponsors.
• Collaborate closely with The Company’s sales & marketing teams and lines of business managers. Feedback key business contacts, new customer requirement, product and competitor information.
