Charterhouse is working with an International downhole drilling holes business, which specialises in the supply of specialist drilling equipment for the oil & gas sector. Headquartered in the US, our client is actively seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to hire into its Dubai, UAE office to manage its GCC client portfolio.
The Regional Business Development Manager, will possess a strong network in the region and must be able to generate new business using a range of business development strategies, whilst developing rapport with existing customers. This management role will require the incumbent to achieve sales account targets, aligned with the company’s objective and manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring long-term commercial success.
In addition, the role will require you to create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives, analysing regional market trends to discover new growth opportunities, addressing any problems where required.
This technical sales role will work closely with customers, offering tailored solutions, through the organisation’s product range and compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.
Requirements
The client will look to recruit a candidate who has strong knowledge of downhole drilling products, specific to the oil and gas sector in the GCC. The incumbent will have a minimum of 12 years professional experience and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field.
Essentially, candidates will possess a strong network of customers and contacts within the oil & gas industry in the GCC.
