Job description / Role
Synopsis
Our regional catering support officer will assist ongoing operational activity including Menu plans, billing checking, accrual entries, BOT (Build-Operate- Transfer) for system pricing/Invoicing modules and all systems pricing updates. The incumbent will be responsible for allocated set of stations ensuring system is updated for the caterers as a single source of information for Operational Planning and delivery
Accountabilities
- Maintenance of accurate Service Profiles, Menu Specifications in Catering system in a timely manner with half yearly audit assessment for system health check.
- Review and validate accuracy of TP006/10, boarding bills and other generated reports in liaison with Planning & Operations
- Generate and Publish Menu Plan Exports for pricing submission request to the caterers
- Work with stakeholders across GE team to identify, communicate, & support implementation of operational improvement opportunities.
- Monitor auto-invoice process to check invoicing against agreed contractual obligations
- Generate financial reports from system to measure station performance and budget analysis
- Analyse catering food pricing submissions from caterers against budget submissions and previous pricings
- Support Regional Performance team with CPG creation, Meal Tasting & Offload Analysis.
- Responsible for coordination and management of catering related statistics, report, analysis, guest feedback, catering enquiries and general support for catering operation
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree Level Education preferably with a financial/accounting related discipline
- Post holder must have overall 3 years' experience working with business finance, systems and processes in catering operations
- Knowledge of catering, food concepts, ingredient and food pricing
- Computer literate (MS Office applications required; catering systems & finance an advantage)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
