Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Purpose:

- Provides support to the Compensation and Benefits Manager in the development and administration of effective compensation and benefits programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy.

Main Accountabilities:

- Works closely with the Compensation and Benefits Manager during the annual salary planning process. From analysis, gathering market data benchmarks up to review of increase proposals.
- Assist in the administration/implementation of the annual bonus cycle
- Supports the Compensation and Benefits Manager in the review of the compensation and benefits structure to ensure alignment with the business strategy and market practice.
- Support the MU’s in their job evaluation request using Hay Methodology
- Supports the line managers in the proper review and compilation of their functions job descriptions.
- Supports in the proper communication of the Compensation & Benefits policies, procedures and practices to ensure employees understanding and compliance in line with local market practice and local legislation.
- Ensure an in depth understanding of the markets to provide support to the business through the development, review and compilation of monthly and quarterly market intelligence report within region.
- Review and propose compensation offers/promotions/equity adjustments
- Works closely with the Expatriate team to ensure expatriate population compensation and benefits are implemented accurately.
- Support in the preparation and monitoring of HR annual budget planning for the region office
- Gather the market information through surveys and supports the Compensation and Benefits Manager in the set-up of a base pay scales for all local companies within the Middle East.

Requirements

- University Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits required.
- High analytic abilities and attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal and problem solving skills
- High degree of flexibility and ability to effectively deal with ambiguity
- Experience in Middle East, Russia, India, Turkey & Sub Sahara Africa countries is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks
- Proficiency with MS office applications
- Teamwork - showing a commitment to teamwork and collaboration
