Job description / Role
A Regional Distribution Center Manager who will lead the Spare Parts Inventory Strategy across the Middle East and Africa. Frontlines and coordinate activities between different countries, the 3PL Solution Provider and the Global Spares Supply Unit in Europe to ensure exceptional customer service. Drive efficiencies and cost reductions throughout the entire spares supply chain by thorough consumption analysis, developing and implementing Frontline stock policies, sourcing alternative suppliers and effective management of the 3PL.
Requirements
- Develop and implement Inventory strategies that increase efficiencies through the supply chain that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Collaborate with country managers , global shared center and 3PL to drive improvements in performance against key service metrics (e.g. Service Performance and Stock Turns).
- Monitor and conduct ongoing development of inventory strategies to determine cost-effective use of inventory investment while maximizing inventory turns and meeting customer SLA’s
- Drive local and support regional spare part supply market analysis (sourcing)
- Ensure Purchasing of Spare Parts are well managed and proper material resource planning profiles have been created in all Frontlines (e.g. MRP scheduling, ROPs, EOQs) through Consumption Analyzer
- Identify local and cross-unit inventory optimization opportunities and risks.
- Working with Service Administrators, Spare Part Officers and Service Managers to define the inventory requirements across KMEA.
