Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role is working with retail organisation that represents up to 40 international brands across 20 suppliers.
Having been in the region for 30 years they are a well established supplier to the travel retail industry.
The main responsibilities of the Regional Supervisor and Visual Merchandiser role include:
• To focus on the business at end market level in Airports stores amongst others to maximize sales potential and ensure premium presentation of the brands.
• Management of over 50 Brand Ambassadors and Team Leads with sales targets to achieve
• Ensure optimum presentation and visibility of the brands
• Ensure sufficient point of sale and support materials, present and coordinate the promotional activities, and provide insightful reports on the business and its competitors.
• Travel within the Middle East region will be approximately 50% of the time including overnight stays.
• During these store visits across the Middle East you will ensure the following:
• Correct merchandising and visuals as per the brand guidelines
• Sufficient stocks of point of sale material
• New launch of all POS merchandise requirements raised and in store on time
• Visible communication of free gifts and promotional offers
• Identification of new space opportunities
• Identification of new brand and new reference opportunities
• Maintaining a detailed floor plan file for own and competitor brands
• Ensuring prices are correct and price increases are activated at store level
• Assists the Division Manager with recruitment of store employees
• Coaching the staff on the promotional activity and merchandising
• Communicates sales targets to the team and tracks sales vs. target
• Analyses and follow up on the retail sales identifying issues and solving them
• Report to Senior Management on a monthly basis regarding sales targets, merchandising objectives, and promotions
• Market Analysis on brand sales and promotions and competitors brands
• Monitor Operational budgets & costs

Requirements

Requirements:

• Fluent in English & Arabic (spoken / written / writing)
• Minimum of 3 years experience within a similar environment
• Bachelors degree
• Travel Retail within the fragrance industry is a priority
• Dynamic ‘can do’ attitude passion and high levels of initiative together with a keen sense of desire to see results of initiatives.
• Ability to communicate with clarity and persuasion, empathy and respect with high energy levels.
• Evidence of passion and achievements.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment building strong relationships
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking.
• Strong in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• International Travel within the Middle East region expected at 50% time
• Nationality to allow easy travelling in the Middle East region/Visa obtaining
