Regional Finance Manager

Reporting into Regional CFO.

My client is looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual for role of Finance Manager for its Middle East & Central Asia operations.

This is a business critical and market facing role with direct impact on all facets of business including growth, financial performance and internal controls for the region.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Drive profitable business growth

- Drive responses to RFP, Bids and Proposals rendering optimum outcome from a commercial, financial and accounting standpoint
- Support business team in Customer and Vendor contract negotiations
- Support internal bid review process and drive consensus and approval from regional senior leadership team
- Provide financial analysis and insights in structuring deals for maximizing margins and cash flows and minimizing commercial and operational risks

Financial Planning and Analysis and reporting

- Responsible for Long Range planning, forecasts, Outlook and operational budgeting process
- Responsible for periodic reporting on monthly and quarterly basis of actual and forecast data
- Ad-hoc financial analysis as required by business

Governance, Accounting and Controls

- Responsibility for monthly accounting close process and reporting of actual performance and consequent variation analysis
- Ensure compliance to various internal policies
- Support regional finance teams in various tax, treasury and regulatory matters pertaining to legal entities in the region

Requirements

Requirements:

- Ability to drive consensus on finance issues by working various functionally and geographically dispersed teams
- Sound knowledge, understanding and application of GAAP a must
- Excellent (English) communication skills
- Prior commercial, finance and accounting experience in Telecom industry preferred
