An interesting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the leading law practices in the ME region.

I am currently handling a very prestigious position for a top law firm in Dubai. My client is a leading firm, ranked top tier in many practice areas in Dubai and other locations internationally. The firm's Construction and Infrastructure Practice helps clients across the entire construction and infrastructure industry and their lawyers understand clients’ objectives and the broader commercial and practical issues that need to be factored into the advice, and assistance is given. Their team has regional focus and expertise, servicing clients in all regions where the firm has a presence. The team specialises in all aspects of construction and infrastructure law, acting for employers, contractors, facility managers, developers, consultants and other industry participants. Clients range from major institutions and government entities to specialist contractors and consultants.

This is a key position within the firm and they are looking for a strong leader with a proven track record in staff management and business development. In a region, where the development and construction market is constantly evolving and gaining international attention, this challenging position requires someone who has great enthusiasm for the industry, together with a strong hunger for investing, growing and developing a leading practice.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Common law qualified Lawyer (preferred)
- UAE experience (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 15 years + PQE Construction and Infrastructure Practice Focus
- Front-end & Arbitration experience Essential
- Strong Leader - Experience managing a team (Essential)
- Proven track record in Business Development (Essential)
- Articulate, Professional and an expert on construction laws (Essential)
