Responsibilities:
• Building and planning the Acc Category with focus on sub-categorization and range planning.
• Defining the strategy to be implemented across markets.
• Building the organization structure for the category.
• Responsible for the hiring and management of the regional team for this category.
• Building brand portfolio, strategic decision making, planning.
• Developing the business plan, budget and manpower plan.
• Developing & implementing sales strategy
• Ownership of P&L targets, pricing, promotions, inventory management, and new product concept under assigned category/brands to submit the purchasing proposal. Planning schedule including monthly, quarterly and annual plans
• Responsible for building and increasing strategic healthy relationships with key existing vendor partners/suppliers and third party sellers, terms negotiations, product selection, inventory management, pricing optimization, content creation and new commercial opportunities to grow the business and delight customers.
• Expert on the designed category including: market pricing, promotions, events, collections and competitive analysis.
• This role requires travel to the countries in which Souq operates, to set up the teams and develop the category plans.

Requirements

• Highly qualified candidates who are strategic thinkers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. MBA / BE qualified individuals
• Experience from Online/ Retail.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in buying / brand management.
• Experience of managing cross functional and multicultural teams.
• Entrepreneurial, intelligent, and self-motivated.
• Deep understanding of and passion for E-Commerce.
• Previous responsibility of strategic development, product management or product marketing, revenue targets and quotas.
• Prior experience influencing C-level executives whilst managing a diverse team.
• Knowledge of Analytics.
