EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading firm looking for a Regional HR Director to be based in UAE.

Our client is in need of a Regional HR Director to be part of a growing team of HR professionals in the UAE. The candidate will provide leadership and guidance to all HR matters for Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India and will work closely with regional leadership to translate business strategies into achievable HR objectives with strong focus on talent acquisition, talent management and mid to long term succession planning. In addition, engaging senior leaders on a strategic level whilst overseeing HR operational matters.

Responsibilities would include:
- Supporting the business strategies by developing and executing global human resources programs, services and practices that are aligned with the strategy
- Establishing and maintaining effective strategic working partnerships with directors and managers and their management teams by providing value to the business through expert advice and accurate information and services
- Directing a process of organisational recruitment and development that addresses talent acquisition, workforce development, key employee retention, succession planning, organisational design and workflow efficiency
- Leading the recruitment process, ensuring quality candidates are sourced timely and within budget
- Reviewing annual manpower budgets – Building the Recruitment, Learning, HR and Related Budget
- Implementing the Annual Performance Appraisal Calendar across the organisation; training, guiding and assisting leadership teams in conducting objective performance appraisals
- Providing consultation to employees and Heads of Departments and in relation to contractual compensation and benefits, labour laws, policies and procedures and HR best practices
- Setting and implementing systems for identifying learning needs throughout the organisation; analysing and effectively addressing the learning requirements
- Compiling and analysing complex reports to enable business decision making
- Creating and maintaining network within the industry to enable exchange of HR best practices

Requirements

- Master’s degree in HR or similar discipline (addition certifications preferred)
- Minimum 10 years HR managerial experience with last 5 years working with a senior management team
