EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading firm in the hospitality industry looking for a Regional HR Director to be based in Dubai.

Our client is in need of a Regional HR Director to be part of a growing team of hospitality professionals in the UAE. The candidate will work with the General Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of planning, co-ordinating, directing and supervising the Human Resources functions within the resort. The work is characterised by a high degree of professional judgment, integrity, excellent communication skills and self-initiative

Responsibilities would include:
- Establishing strong relationships with all colleagues, following through on requests and promises, providing guidance and expertise
- Actively participating as a member of the Resort’s Leadership Team and providing insights on strategically aligning human resources with the resort’s direction
- Coaching leaders, managers and supervisors by providing insight on leadership and management skills for effective associate relations
- Providing project and change management support
- Managing all recruitment processes for the resort by working with managers to create business cases for new hires / backfills, updating job descriptions, posting positions on the company’s and various other recruitment portals, creating advertisements for positions, screening applicants and responding to employment enquiries
- Determining, developing and delivering training, learning and development programs
- Fulfilling corporate HR initiatives including the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures, participation and implementation of new corporate programs to the resort level and maintaining salary schedules
- Preparing and monitoring the department’s budget; monitoring department expenditures, processing invoices for payment and handling monthly and annual reporting
- Establishing goals, objectives, policies, procedures and priorities related to the activities of the Human Resources Department
- Managing and monitoring the payroll function (team and processes) and managing all aspects of the HRIS / payroll system
- Investigating, organising and completing ad hoc HR projects
- Reviewing and updating program documents specific to client departments
- Providing suggestions for new HR programs and process improvements

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Business Management / HR Management
- Additional HR Certifications preferred
- 7 years of experience as HR Manager
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Hospitality
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
