Job description / Role
• Prepare S&D for the Philippines/Tropics/Chile based on allocation and market requirements.
• Confirm proper loadings are maintained by source units depending on market and unit requirements.
• Support diversion requests and Document/BL Amendments as per requests from Units or Management.
• Ensure timely payment to shipping lines and customers in cases of Freight Collect or Pre-payments.
• Receiving and securing payment against shipping documents.
• Prepare stowage plan for break-bulk vessels depending on destination.
• Coordinate with Network Shipping
• Bunker Collection
• Freight Rates Inquiries and Confirmation
• Feedback on difficulties or problems faced with Shipping Lines
• Coordinate with the shipping lines to receive booking confirmation and communicate the same with suppliers. (Foods and Fresh).
• Assisting in providing freight request coming from the different DC’s.
• Prepare/ coordinate export shipments from the DC’s
• Communication and sales skills to interact with customers and negotiate prices
• Coordinate between the units MENA-CIS
• Needs to be on call and online for the business outside working hours and during vacations
