Job description / Role
- Executing all lab activities needed for packaging evaluations, ensuring the following-up of lab planning programs and preparing samples, chemicals and other supporting materials
- Creating basic specification and developing technical drawings, mockups and samples for new packaging through coordinating with international and local packaging team
- Participating in developing packaging solutions for market promotions
- Evaluating technically all cost chase proposals by other business partners
- Implementing all test methods to assess quality of packaging materials of our products when compared to competitors or benchmark through supporting the marketing/market research team in the idea generation sessions
- Making sure that all samples used in consumer tests are fitting to the specification from local R&D
- Auditing the lab to make sure that all applied activities/processes are fitting to Henkel standards
- Applying Henkel Safety, Health and environment and making sure that the team is following it strictly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Mechanical or Material Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar field
- Fluency in English is a must, Arabic language is a plus
- Proficient user of Microsoft office
- Analytical, problem solving and communication skills are necessary
