Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a world leading educational professional body who is looking to hire a Regional Representative to oversee the Gulf region. As the Regional Representative you will report directly to the Head Office in the UK, overseeing an initial focus of the UAE and Bahrain and then expanding across the whole Gulf.
You will work to develop the presence in the region and increase student numbers from existing training providers and through identifying growth opportunities. Your main responsibilities will be to engage with both organisations such as universities, employers as well the public sector and individuals. You will provide ongoing market insight and build relationships with relevant educational bodies, government and qualification authorities in the region.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently, you should have a proven background in sales or business development, ideally within education and selling programs. You should have experience both in B2B and B2C and be willing to travel approx. 4 days or so a month at this time with scope for further travel.
