NTS Group are working with a leading local company in Dubai to recruit a Regional Sales Manager for the GCC. The right candidate will oversee a large portfolio of brands in a multi-million dollar business with a major focus on personal and household care categories. This is a distributor management role where the RSM will be acting on behalf of a global principal to manage all initiatives, sales and commercial objectives across the region. This position covers the entire GCC, Levant, Iran, Yemen and Egypt. This role involves some travel within the region handling multiple responsibilities in building strong relationships with the distributors.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing necessary plans and agreeing on the yearly sales targets with the distributors.
- Developing and managing sales strategies as well as field monitoring.
- Develop market entry strategy for new products in coordination with the Marketing Manager.
- Analyzing trends and competitor activities, managing the distributors’ networks effectively as well as putting together necessary promotions to increase IMS.
- Monitoring the distributors IMS and MOH.
- Handling full responsibilities of the distributors’ forecasts.
- Coordination with the logistic department on the prompt dispatches as per forecasts ensuring compliance with the official authorities’ regulations whenever required.
- Close monitoring and follow up with Finance Department on receivables.
- The ideal candidate should be a university graduate with FMCG background.
- He should be an Arab expatriate with several years in sales and distributors management for a local of multinational consumer company.
- This role also involves a great deal of business development and utmost coordination with the Marketing Manager.
