Charterhouse is working with a multinational manufacturer who serves the HVAC, power and energy industries worldwide. Our client has a critical position within their Middle East and North Africa team and is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager.
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a cross functional team of sales and operations, inclusive of direct report employees and sales representative companies of the brand. Not only will you develop and drive regional strategies but also the operational strategy and excellence for the MENA region. You will be responsible for regional approvals, covering technical and commercial terms, bid strategies and local finance decisions. You will also have sole responsibility of all aspects of the local business entity management. This role does have a heavy focus on operations but our client is seeking a hands-on sales professional with excellent HVAC experience. You will have a strong, regional network of connections with MEP Consultants, Engineers and Contractors.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have at least 10 years' HVAC or Cooling sales experience and at least 5 years' management experience with operational responsibility. You should be able to demonstrate your experience in leading a multi-functional team across a region but still have a hands-on sales approach. Experience in a similar role within a multinational HVAC business is advantageous. Western candidates are preferred for this position.
