Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Registered Nurse will promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients as per Alleanza Healthcare’s standard policies and procedures. Moreover, responsible for providing skilled nursing care in accordance with the patient's plan of care. Likewise, organizing, preparing, and assuring the delivery of cost-effective and quality patient care.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Applying critical-thinking skills in assessment of patient’s health, detecting changes in symptoms, and taking appropriate action for patient recovery.
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient and their families to understand the condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.
• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by Licensing Authority and other governing agencies regulations.
• Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Coordinates with physicians and other healthcare professionals for establishing treatment care plans.
• Assisting doctors, carrying out physician’s orders, administering medications and treatments, including wound care, and operating medical equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Participates in in-service programs.
• Complies with all safety, health, and quality control programs and procedures as applicable.
• Adhering to the protocols, norms, rules, and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.

Requirements

• The candidate must hold a degree in Nursing with a valid DHA, MoH, DoH license, or Eligibility Letter.
• Home Country License as Registered Nurse is mandatory with 4-6 years post qualification clinical experience in an appropriate setting.
• Candidates who are on a tourist or visit visa are welcome to apply provided that they will meet the criteria to apply for UAE Healthcare professional license.
