Job Purpose:

Responsible for providing data analytics support pertaining to regulatory and reporting requirements for PBG Business Risk function including ongoing due diligence(ODD), AML alerts ,Emirates ID - Expired & Missing and Expired Trade Licences, overdrawn accounts, unauthorized excesses, cheques returned due to non-sufficient funds and other risk reporting. Developing and implementing appropriate business processes, dashboards, reports, disciplines and schedules that deliver a holistic review of results, trends.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Analyse PBG Customer base on a monthly basis to identify Customers that are due for KYC on-going due diligence, due for ID documents update (EID, Passport, trade license)
• Coordinate with Business Risk team to complete the Gap Analysis and map the documents/ information requirements from ODD perspective
• Coordinate with IT team to ensure that the Customers due for Outreach are uploaded to Customer Portal
• Share the customer base at agreed frequency with Business Marketing team to trigger communication for ODD Outreach/ Reoutreach
• Manage the customer communication and outreach process as per CB UAE guidelines at agreed frequency
• Maintain a database at a Customer level with different stages of ODD as well as next ODD due date
• Publish regular tracking reports and dashboard on the progress of ODD for PBG Customers and share that with key stakeholders and PBG Management
• Identify Customers that require Consequence Management as part of ODD - applying and lifting of restrictions.
• Coordinate with IT and OPS to ensure seamless execution of the Consequence Management process as per the ODD policy guidelines.
• Working with IT Teams on ingestion of the Customer data post successful remediation so that customer records are updated with most recent information
• Perform semi-annual validation of the Customer Risk Rating model to ensure that the Risk Rating for PBG customers are accurate, Highlight any discrepancies for further analysis by Compliance team
• Support Business Risk team with other regulatory analysis and reporting requirements on AML alerts , Emirates ID - Expired & Missing and Expired Trade Licences, overdrawn accounts, unauthorised excesses, cheques returned due to non-sufficient funds and other risk reporting.
• Perform regular data quality assessment and data Gap analysis for all PBG Customers on boarded through different channels and identify any gaps from regulatory perspective that require remediation.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to obtain updated Customer ID details where institutional data can be leveraged to update customer's ID details and expiry date such as Emirates ID, Trade License etc.
• Take ownership of managing such processes end to end.
• Prepare and publish a monthly dashboard for PBG Customers in terms of all regulatory aspects including ODD due, ODD progress, consequence management, expiring IDs, collected IDs, pending AML alerts etc. so that PBG Management can get a detailed view of all regulatory aspects pertaining to PBG.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Economics / Finance or Equivalent
• 6/8 years of relevant work experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics
• Strong analytical and programming skills (e.g. SAS, SQL, Python)
