Job description / Role
Our client, a well-known healthcare facility based in UAE is looking for Rehabilitation Team Leader for their unit based in Al Ain.
Your responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Leads and directs rehabilitation service provision within the allocated facility in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Team Leader of other Healthcare units to ensure consistency.
- Responsible for providing and ensuring safe, effective, evidence-based and interdisciplinary therapy (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Dietetics, and Special Education) for pediatric services within their professional scopes, in a long-term care setting.
- Is responsible for the overall Therapy management, service delivery and evaluation of the therapy department, which includes leadership/participation in strategic planning, business development; programme evaluation, mentoring and general operations
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate would have:
- Not less than 8 years relevant experience in a large hospital; preferably with wide background in adult cases
- Must possess discipline specific Bachelor degree (OT, PT, RT, SLT)
- Desired Qualification: MSc or Post graduate Diploma
- Evidence of completion of discipline specific specialist courses e.g. Bobath, Airway Management
- Eligible for Department of Health license or a transferable UAE license.
