Job description / Role
JOB PURPOSE
To be the prime contact for all external company relationships, establish and maintain relationships with government and private entities, and to fundraise and acquire financial sponsorship from donors and investors to sustain the company’s operating model.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Initiate and manage relationship with external private and governmental entities
• Maintain relationships with entities by formalizing MOUs and identifying collaboration initiatives with different organizations
• Selling the Krypto Labs model and offer to various entities (membership packages, facilities usage, etc..)
• External promotion of Krypto Labs at public events and conferences
• Managing existing relationships to continuously promote Krypto Labs as the go-to innovation center
• Business development tasks in bringing new clients, and potential startups to Krypto Labs
• Support in regional brand awareness and expansion to future branch offices
• Seek financial sponsors to support Krypto Labs’ programs and attain financial sustainment
• Partnership initiation and management
WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• The position will be based office in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi
• There will be travel requirements primarily within Abu Dhabi, the UAE, and potentially international travel depending on company needs
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant education
• 5+ years experience in business development and relationship management plus sales
• Very energetic and outgoing personality
• Experience in the GCC (particularly UAE)
• Arabic language is highly recommended
• Presentable, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
• Ability to raise funding and sponsorship of 5-10M AED annually from prospect clients
• Understanding of startups, incubators and accelerators and familiar with innovation programs
