Job Description
A Research Assistant position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Basel al-Ramadi, Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The successful candidate will be engaged in a project investigating the role of the endothelin pathway on cancer metastasis and therapy.

Minimum Qualification
The applicant should have a B.Sc. in a biomedical/pharmaceutical science discipline with 1-2 years of appropriate research laboratory experience.
Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
The successful candidate will perform, under direction, a variety of activities related to the planning and performance of experiments on cancer cell lines and in vivo murine cancer models using cellular and molecular biology techniques. Additional duties include preparing and maintaining detailed records, logs and summary reports of all procedures and results, conducting literature searches and performing other job-related duties, as required.
Candidates should have a background in cancer biology/immunology/pharmacology. We are looking for energetic and highly motivated candidates who can work with enthusiasm and minimal supervision.
