Job Description
A research assistant is required to work at the College of IT, United Arab Emirates University. We seek a highly motivated research assistant to participate in a simulation using network simulators such as NS3/4. Previous experience in remote sensing using communication signals such as 5G, WiFi, and Bluetooth, human gait recognition using machine learning algorithms is highly preferable. The job involves setting up and running a simulation to test new schemes designed as milestones of a research project in the area of "seamless Wireless Communications Sensing.
The job duties include implementing new schemes for signal measurements and running performance evaluation with the current methods in the literature. The employment period is six months up for renewal based on an assessment of the RA performance.
Essential requirements for the research assistant include simulation experience on wireless communication and networking, machine learning, and optimization. In addition, good written and oral communication skills in English are essential. Salary is provided based on qualification.

Masters in computer engineering, computer science, networking or communications
Preferred Qualification
Masters or Ph.D.
