Job Description
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a research assistant position starting February 2022 to work on a research project in the area of stormwater quality and control.
The project will evaluate the effectiveness of permeable pavement systems in the control of stormwater quality and quantity.
Requirements
Suitable candidates MUST have:
- A Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering.
- A Master of Science in civil or environmental engineering.
- Have documented evidence (thesis, journal article, and/or conference papers) of relevant experience in the field of stormwater quality (contaminant concentration, fate, and transport) and quantity (hydrological modeling).
Minimum Qualification
- Applicants must have a MSc. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Preferred Qualification
- The ideal candidate should be on track to apply for the PhD program in Civil Engineering at UAE University.
