Job Description
The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is announcing a position of research assistant. This position is part of the ASIPIRE-AARE research project "Building Cultural Indicators for Abu Dhabi Cultural Statistics System".
The overall goal of the research is to assist the Principal Investigator (PI) to study the musical sector particularly in Abu Dhabi, but also in other Emirates. The research assistant will have to implement a survey among musical schools, amateur circles, professional musicians and instrumentalists, as well as among musicians involved in the cultural industry.

Survey design:
• Help and assist the survey design process by providing in-depth knowledge and feedback of the Abu Dhabi musical sector and cultural landscape.
• Data collection and implementation of the survey
• Assist the survey implementation among musical schools, amateur circles, professional musicians and instrumentalists, as well as among musicians involved in the cultural industry.
• Data treatment and analysis
• Assist the PI in data processing and analysis of information collected.
