Job Description
The college of Information Technology at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) seeks one research assistant in the area of software engineering. The candidate should develop a conceptual framework for EEG-based BCI and e-mental health in UAE and build a prototype using P300 and/or SSVEP modality. The candidate will be involved in research collaboration with internal and external partners therefore strong communication skills are required. His/her work will lead to contributions in publications.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
The applicant is required to have a Master's degree in Informatics (or equivalent) and good knowledge of software engineering and human/brain-computer interaction. The applicant should also be fluent in both English and Arabic.

Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of connected health for physical and mental health is an advantage (e.g., Brain computer Interface, EEG, P300, SSVEP, Motor Imagery Etc.) + Programing skills: Python, including TensorFlow library.
