Job Description

The Department of Physics, United Arab Emirates University is seeking a Research Associate to work on a project related to the formation and evolution of supermassive black holes. The position requires a Ph.D. in Physics/Astrophysics or a related field with experience in modeling astrophysical processes. Additional expertise in structure/galaxies formation especially with experience in numerical simulations is desired.

Successful candidates will work Dr. Muhammad Abdul Latif on above mentioned project. The position is for two years contingent upon the candidate performance after one year. The nominal starting date is March 1, 2019 but negotiable. The applicants should submit a cover letter, a detailed resume and a brief description of the applicant's research interests relevant for this position.

The astrophysics group at department of physics, UAEU consists of five faculty members with research interests in various fields of Astrophysics such as cosmology, structure formation, galaxies formation and AGN feedback, planet formation and radio observations.
