Job Description
The Department of Physics at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), is seeking applications for a research associate position in materials physics.

The successful candidate will work on Lithium Ion batteries under the supervision of Dr. Fathalla Hamed. We are looking for a very hard-working individual who is committed to outstanding research. This appointment is initially made for one year; contingent on performance and mutual agreement, the position can be extended for another year.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
- A PhD. in experimental materials physics or related areas with a reasonable experience in energy storage materials.
- Familiarity with XRD, SEM, EDX, supercapacitor and battery characterization
- Good communication skills (spoken and written English).

Preferred Qualification
- Previous experience in Li ion batteries and supercapacitors.
